how do you hang a lantern from the ceiling by chain ???
I’m hanging indoor lanterns as lights using a rustic chain from the ceiling rose to the handle of the lantern. How do you hang the chain from the ceiling – bear in mind that the electrical wiring is coming from the ceiling rose, and will be wrapped around the chain..????

your not old enough to remember this one, but we use to hang chain from the ceiling and lights too, in the 70’s next to the bed or in a corner of the room.
We used a ceiling hook, it screws into a ceiling truss and supports the weight of the chain and the lantern’s in your case.
I have one in the garage, o if you can’t find any write me back and I will look thru the stuff from my dad’s garage this Sunday and see if I can’t find you two of them.
