How do I get the flash hider off of my airsoft gun?
I got an ECHO 1 full metal airsoft gun from Airsoft G.I., and the flash hider won’t come off! It came with a barrel extension which I can’t put on. It has a hex key on it that is super tiny, but the edges are rounded out or something and it won’t unscrew. I’ve tried lots of things to get it off, but its still there! Any suggestions?
Wow, it need a special small hex key. Sounds to me like you stripped it by using the wrong size. No chance of getting it off now. Call AirsoftGI.
Normally what you do is use the hex key to remove the hex screw. Then you dip the barrel of your gun in boiling water for 5 mins to loosen the glue and unscrew the flash hider.
