Are Toro Lawn tractors made by MTD?
The model numbers on Toro lawn tractors match those used on Cub Cadet, Troy-Built, White Outdoor, Yard-Man, and Yard Machine; so it seems logical that Toro tractors are made by MTD.
Toro is not owned by mtd, or the other way around….. but yes, the lower end toro’s (like that sold at home depot) are rebadged mtds (and rehooded with those ugly hoods as well)
